when being hated

What should I do when I know someone hated me? Ignore it or face it? It much easier to ignore than to face it. But, it isn't good in the long run... isn't? Because it will keep repeating it. What if I do not have the courage to face it? The thing is, why hate in the first place? Hate can come because of so many reasons, and sometimes unthinkable reasons too. Because the flesh call herat, is so hard to predict and tame. It requires a lot of work, and time and patience. Thus, what should I do? Train the heart to be patience about it and just walk on. Even in the course of being patience, I will feel frustrated, hurt and can easily cry, but that's ok, because that is the process of becoming strong, isn't? Whatever it is, just keep on walking, do the right and good things, and be patience, and as Muslim, keep on zikr, it helps the heart to be calm. I got this from the ideal dreamers page, just sharing it here, just because I think it is related to the things I a...

Take one step at a time

Have you ever feel like you missing out? - Ohh, why didn't I think I that? - If only I start saving easrly ... - I should have continue my master? - Ohh, I missed out the sale, I cannot get what I want ..... and the list could go on and on... Then, you see that your peers are doing so much better than you, and having the things that you want, and this will make you feel more irritated. So, what are you going to do? Chances are, you want to chase everything in one go. try to make up everything that you lost. You plan, then, you work hard. But after a few attempts, you start to feel burn out. Then, you quit. I post this because I've been through this, personally and in career also. I felt that I missed many things, and I try to gain back what I think were supposed to be mine. But, it is not right to do that. Because it will drain my energy and I felt exhausted. I do not say that it not possible, but it is really hard. In pursuing the things that I missed, I might I miss...

Real happiness lies in making others happy ----

Something to share... I got this from an email, but I do not know who is the writer... Real happiness lies in making others happy ---- This is amazing, he died of pancreatic cancer in 2008, but wrote a book The last lecture before then, one of the bestsellers in 2007. What a legacy to leave behind In a letter to his wife Jai and his children, Dylan, Logan , and Chloe, he wrote this beautiful "guide to a better life" for his wife and children to follow.May you be blessed by his insight. POINTS ON HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE Personality: 1. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 2. Don't have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment 3. Don't overdo; keep your limits 4. Don't take yourself so seriously; no one else does 5. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip 6. Dream more while you are awake 7. Envy is a waste of time. You ...
Wow, December has come in. This will be the last month for 2010. Time flies really really fast. That’s why I believed in saying that time is gold. Once we lost it, we cannot retrieve it back. If I have to make summary of my 2010, I can says that it is a very fulfilling year, but still I’m not satisfied over what I have done and achieved this year, because I know I can do a lot better. But, throughout 2010, there are many things I learn, especially about me. Perseverance and smile is very very important. Avoiding complaining and backbiting as much as possible because somehow it will come back to you. When you look things positively, so it going to be positive and vice versa. You are what you think. But there are things I’m disappointed. Quite a few. I’ve lost a best friend because I cancel our trip. I cannot go. But, she won’t understand. I’ve tried to talk to her, but she sees it as totally my fault. Me back off from the plan, it is really me. I guess, I kind a person who likes to si...

Chasing dreams – avoiding what people might think of what you are doing

Heavily occupied of what people think of what you are doing, talking, and even  appearances? Well, don’t. It is a bad bad bad things to do. It is wasted, as the only opinion matter is from yourself, and no one else. People’s opinion do matter, but do not think of what they might think, as it is not your job. You are what you think. You are grown up woman, you’ve learn a lot, you experienced a lot, so you set to go to conquer the things that you want. It is not your job to identify whether you will succeed or not. Why bother with the outcome when the journey to go there is much better? But it doesn’t mean you have to be selfish. Listen what people says, but have a good filtering system, because not all what people said is worth to think or to be worry about. This is a reminder for myself, as she is too worry  of what people might think of her. There are so many drawbacks when you keep on worrying of what people might think, and one of it is, it delaying your success. People ...

Saying No to Others is Saying YES to Yourself by Jack Canfield

A friend of mine said that I kind a person who can tolerate anything... kind a yes person. As difficult as I want to admit,  I guess at some point, she is right.A yes person, is not too good, isn't? I've been a subscriber to Jack Canfeild newsletter and today email, really shows why saying no is good too, in fact it shows reasons for me why I need to learn to say no.   There are only two words that will always lead you to success.  Those words are yes and no.  Undoubtedly, you’ve mastered saying yes.  So start practicing saying no.  Your goals depend on it!  If you are constantly saying yes to other people, then you are constantly saying no to yourself  and your goals .    Ask yourself if what is being requested of you is in line with your goals, will it benefit you in some way and bring you closer to your success, or will you simply be spending your time on someone else’s good opportunity? How much time do you waste with pr...

Change

I hate the word change when I was a teenager. Reason being when one friend of mine told me to change the way I walk and talk, because for her it is weird. Since then I hate the word change and try my best to avoid the word as much as I can. I do not hate the idea of change, but hearing the word makes me feel down and hurt, because of this incidence. But then, I know realized that I have to accept change and ready to change. But changing my way of talk and walk? no, I've born with it. There are things I need to change, especially my mental attitude and how my mind works. I got this great poem (I think it is a poem), about changing and I want to share it. I got it from the comment box of a famous blog. Usually I do not like reading other people commnents, but since I can found valuable information on comment box, I like reading it and usually I read the comment box before I read tha article to know what people are thinking about it. here it is Quoting from Dr. Staples “Be The Best Yo...

A POSITIVE - ATTITUDE HABIT

Just how critical is attitude to achievement? Well, take a look at one of the greatest inventors of the last two hundred years – Thomas Edison . Every time you turn on a light switch, you experience the result of his persistence in the face of continuous failure. Edison tried 10,000 times to get the light bulb invention to work, but failed each time. However he had this to say about his lack of success . “ I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.’ You can learn to have this kind of outlook on life, but it needs to be purposefully installed into your daily living. 1. Take charge of what you’re thinking. How can you do this? Choose to think uplifting thoughts instead of discouraging ones. You get to decide what you think, which in turn determines how you feel. Become aware of this and dwell on positive ideas throughout the day. 2. Read Inspirational material Fill your mind with good thoughts. You’ll never know what wonderful results from reading are around th...

Success Secrets : Never give up!

Something that I read from warriorforum and want to share it here. Very nice reading Author Michael Jeffreys personally interviewed 15 top motivational gurus in 1997 for his then upcoming book. After talking to gurus from Brian Tracy to Dr. Wayne Dyer, he distilled 8 Secrets to Success they all agreed upon. These secrets are still good today and are as follows: 1. Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life – In a society where people blame everything from their parents to the government for failure, those who don’t buy into this mentality or succumb to the “victim” thinking succeed. To blame something or somebody outside yourself is saying they have control of your life and not you. Someone else’s opinion of you doesn’t have to become your reality. 2. Live Your Life On Purpose - What separates motivational thinkers from the unsuccessful is that they believe they’re doing what they were put her to do. The difference between this and just living, is that the latter is just getting thr...

Repel boredom with work

Idleness can cause to depression because idleness allow your mind to wander in the past, the present and the future with all the difficulties. Therefore it much better to perform fruitful acts instead of being idle because idleness is slow and veiled form of suicide. Idleness is like a slow the slow torture that being inflicted upon prisoner, they are places under a tap, from which a drop of water falls only after every hour. During the period of waiting between drops, many of them lose their minds and are driven to insanity. Being inactive means being negligent of one’s duties. Idleness is an expert thief and your mind is its victims. Therefore, get up now and do something fruitful, reading, working out and etc….., so that you can put an end to your inactivity. Destroy boredom by working. Taken from book “Don’t be Sad” and simplify by me

Don’t be afraid of what may happen in the future

Don’t be afraid of what may happen in the future I quoted from a book I read, Don’t be sad, at page 115 : “Most of what is feared to occur, never happens” As I a person who constantly feels fears and worry all the time, this sentence somehow managed to make me calm and realized that there is no benefit of worrying of what will happen in the future. As my lecturer once always said : “Live in the moment”. If not, you will miss out many things. Treasure every moments that you have. Be active, be productive, be happy. Work hard, play hard and proceed the things that you want. Always be patients, because at times, when chelelnges knock you door, let it be and be patient, because in every matters and problems, there must be ways to fix iit. Love yourself, believe yourself and be confident. Don’t be afraid to admit your weaknesses and your mistakes. We human will keep on doing mistakes, because from there we learn. Smile even though when you feel terribly down, because it gives you hope that ...

How To Influence People With Your Mind by Jim Francis

It has long been suspected that your right cerebral hemisphere, when in the alpha state, operates in a realm where time and space are of no consequence. What you think affects others...... and what others think affects you! It is rather like the invisible connection between the earth's magnetic field and every magnetic compass on earth. They are interconnected. If the earth's magnetic field were to suddenly shift then every compass in existence would swing in unison. Likewise, if you suddenly move a magnetic compass, or any magnet for that matter, this movement will have a slight effect on the earth's entire magnetic field. Admittedly this would be so small as to be immeasurable but it would still be there. Similarly, when you have a thought it “twitches” the entire human consciousness "thought field". Rupert Sheldrake calls this the Morphogenetic Field. Karl Jung called it Collective Unconsciousness. Jose Silva found a practical method of evoking and controlling ...

It so hard to be kind

I want to be kind and nice to people, but it wasn't easy at all. It requires a lot of patience and perseverance. you need to have strong heart and faith in what you believe what is right and wrong. Sometimes, when you in terrible mood, still you need to force yourself to smile and making eye contact even though that were the last things that you can do during that time. Its all begin with a piece of meat call heart. when your heart feeling good, nice, your body will feel good, but if it vice versa, well, dear, you are going to go through a painful days. I read its all about what you set your mind to, if you take it positively, then your heart will persevere, but if your mind take it hard, well, then it will become a stress, a problem to you and me later on. And this is the tricky part, how to make our heart take it positively? How? It requires a hard work if you just start, like me, but if you have trained to do so since you was a child, then it an easy job for you. Used to be, if ...

Lack of discipline? And you bound to fail.

Sound harsh isn’t? Well dear, time to face the truth dear. If you don’t have a good discipline habit, the possibility of you to achieve a good result that you aiming is very far from reach. Nothing comes easy in this world. A good discipline means you have a constant same good attitude in redoing the things that you aim for, a very high spirit that almost nothing can break it, a can attitude and of course a right mind setting. Yes, everyone will tell you that you only needs a right mind setting of what you aim for, but I’m going to be in your face, saying you cannot wait till the right moment come, because there is no such thing of right moment, it’s either you do now, or you will miss it. Procrastination is something you really want to avoid and a good planning of how you want to manage your time well is a must. The way I’m saying seem to portray that it very hard, and oh dear, nothing is easy when you first start. But once you begin it, you on the right track. But life is too full wi...

The thing is “Do it, or else you gain nothing’

Don’t Think, just do it, but do it consistently and do not give up It’s a quote I got from Jackie Chan movie. At times, I really agree with it, as too many thought will hinder my actions, but at times also it will bring danger too, so which one is right? Have you ever seen an ad in the local paper “Make XXX per month, call now for more details!” only to ring up and find out that it is distributing catalogues, then forget it because we can’t be bothered with the physical effort of going out there and doing the work. And YET we still read the success stories- remember these stories have to be true because it’s false advertising. I think these people have worked hard and earned every single penny by putting in and sticking with it. Bought an e-book promising to make money? Next you have to read it and implement the ideas to actually bring in the ‘lolly. It won’t make you a penny left un- read on your hard drive. The same goes for many things - education, just b...

Monty’s Story

A 16 year American called Monty once had to write a composition about what he wanted to do when he grew up. He took a lot of trouble over it and spent hours writing about his dream of one day being the owner of a horse ranch. He wrote seven pages describing the 200 acre ranch in great detail, and drew a diagram showing the location of all the 400 square foot house that he would build. The next day, he handed it to his teacher. Two days later his teacher handed it back to him, with a big red F on the front and the words, “SEE ME AFTER CLASS”. After class, the boy with the dream asked the teacher why he got an F, and the teacher said,” because this is am impossible dream for a boy like you. You need lots and lost of money to own a horse ranch. What sort of money have you got? Nothing! You come from a very poor family. There is no way you could ever do it. It’s just not possible.” I’ll tell you what. You go back and write another composition with more realistic goal, and ...

Do not be sad – the fundamentals of happiness

know that if you do not live within the scope of today, your thoughts will be scattered, your affairs will become confused, and your worrying will increase. Forget the past and all that it contained. Being absorbed in things that are gone is sheer lunacy. do not be preoccupied with the future. Because the future is in the world of the unseen, do not let it bother you until it comes. Do not be shaken by criticism; instead be firm. And know that in proportion to your worth, the level of people’s criticism rises. Faith in God and good deeds: these are the ingredients that make up a good and happy life. do not expect gratitude from anyone. train yourself to be ready and prepared for the worst eventuality. perhaps what has happened is in your best interest (though you may not comprehend how that is so) you are better off than many others. calamities should strengthen your heart and reshape your outlook in a positive sense Taken from (’Aaidh ibn A...
