Chasing dreams – avoiding what people might think of what you are doing

Heavily occupied of what people think of what you are doing, talking, and even  appearances? Well, don’t. It is a bad bad bad things to do. It is wasted, as the only opinion matter is from yourself, and no one else. People’s opinion do matter, but do not think of what they might think, as it is not your job. You are what you think. You are grown up woman, you’ve learn a lot, you experienced a lot, so you set to go to conquer the things that you want. It is not your job to identify whether you will succeed or not. Why bother with the outcome when the journey to go there is much better? But it doesn’t mean you have to be selfish. Listen what people says, but have a good filtering system, because not all what people said is worth to think or to be worry about. This is a reminder for myself, as she is too worry  of what people might think of her. There are so many drawbacks when you keep on worrying of what people might think, and one of it is, it delaying your success. People ...

Change

I hate the word change when I was a teenager. Reason being when one friend of mine told me to change the way I walk and talk, because for her it is weird. Since then I hate the word change and try my best to avoid the word as much as I can. I do not hate the idea of change, but hearing the word makes me feel down and hurt, because of this incidence. But then, I know realized that I have to accept change and ready to change. But changing my way of talk and walk? no, I've born with it. There are things I need to change, especially my mental attitude and how my mind works. I got this great poem (I think it is a poem), about changing and I want to share it. I got it from the comment box of a famous blog. Usually I do not like reading other people commnents, but since I can found valuable information on comment box, I like reading it and usually I read the comment box before I read tha article to know what people are thinking about it. here it is Quoting from Dr. Staples “Be The Best Yo...

Learning Through Experiences is good

I’m a teacher. I always think, is everything what I taught my pupils, do they get it? It makes me worry all the time. But somehow, I know, they do not get fully what I taught. Even our brain unable to give 100% concentration all time, the most, it can only gives 100% concentration of not more than five minutes. Moreover, learning also involves memorization, and most of us know, memorization is not easy (it goes to me, I hate to memorize), that’s why as a teacher, I’ve been told that I need to expose my pupils to the real things of what they learn as much as possible so that they can better and easy to grasp of what I taught. (It’s not easy to be a teacher) At the age of 26, I realized most of the things that I know and learned, I learned through experiences, especially things related to heart. Learning from people and books, can widen our knowledge, but learning from real situations, have make me realized the real me. Have made me to think deeper and become more mature. Well of cours...

Something to Be think About

I read this in a forum under a signature of one of the member in a forum. I really like it so I put it after a long hiatus from this blog. Always be a First Rate version of yourself, instead of a Second Rate version of somebody else " " We cannot control the tragic things that happen to us, but we can control the way we face up to them " " If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change the way you think about it "

Dare to Fail : Some Inspirational Quotable Quotes

Something To Ponder

Money is a singular thing. It ranks with love as man’s greatest source of joy. And with death as his greatest source of anxiety. John Kenneth Galbraith All Motivation is self motivation. Your family, your boss or your co-workers can try to get your engine going, but until you decide what to accomplish, nothing will happen. Seth Godin “Competition is easier to accept if you realize it is not an act of aggression or abrasion. I’ve worked with my best friends in direct competition. Whatever you want in life, other people are going to want too. Believe in yourself enough to accept the idea that you have an equal right to it”. Diane Sawyer : In a speech. When you let someone else win an argument, often you both end up winners. If one of my children says, “you never spend any time with me,” my impulse might be responds, “but I s...

Aims, Difficulties, Mistakes

When you facing difficulties, what will you do? For me, before I graduated from my university, give up rarely existed in my dictionary of life. But after I finish my studies and having really difficult times in my life ( in fact even right now too ), give up and failure is synonym with me. I always cried. Having loss of hope and feeling exhausted and tired all the time. I even do not have courage to contact my close friends. Scared that they will asked me what I am doing now and to tell them I am unemployed? It’s a big embarrassment for me. But I never tired of trying. . Even though the first job that I got is because of the sympathy from other people, but at least I get it. Then I managed to get a job at a bank call centre for three months before I had to quit because of my sister in law hate me of being in her house. When I gave my resignation letter to the assistant of my manager, he asked me to continue work there. But I had to quit. I cannot stand staying at a house with your rela...

Whatever it is, don’t quit

I felt tired and exhausted for the last few days. I think I read more for the last few months regarding internet marketing more than I read books for the last twelve months. I really develop interest to earn online, but to my disappointments, it wasn’t easy. With so many needs that I do not have, I have to do what the basic things that I can now. And this the truth, if you blogging entirely for money, the likely for you to succeed will be low. Don’t ask me why, but I read that a few times. Even john chow said that. But I get this poem from this site When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill, When funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don’t you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won if he’d stuck it out. Don’t give up, th...

>Inspirational quotation: Failure and Success.

Summer is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind is bracing, snow is exhilarating: there is no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of bad weather. Something good always come from something bad. Success is a journey, not a destination – half the fun is getting there. Gita Bellin It is good to have an end to journey towards, but it is the journey that matters in the end. Moula Le Guin Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment. Full effort is full victory. • Mahatma Gandhi Failing is a part of the process of growth. Success and failure like day and night, are inseparable. It is in great crises and wars that great men are born Adversity and defeat allow us to develop our wits and go forward. There is the greatest practical benefit in making a few failures early in life Difficulties call out the qualities and make greatness possible Only when you have been in the deepest valley would you appreciate the magnificence of the greatest mountain. It’s when you are down t...
