BE PATIENT

A man came out of his home to admire his new truck.

To his puzzlement, his three year-old son was happily hammering dents into
the shiny paint of the truck.

The man ran to his son, knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands
into pulp as punishments.

When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital. Although
the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to
amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands.

When the boy wake up from the surgery and saw his bandaged stubs, he
innocently said, " Daddy, I'm sorry about your truck," Then he asked, "but when
are my fingers going to grow back?"

The father went back and committed suicide.

Think abut this story the next time someone steps on your feet or you wish to take revenge. think first before you you lose your patience with someone you love. Trucks can be repaired. Broken bones nad hurt feelings often can't.

Too often we fail to recognise the difference between the person and the performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes.

Pause and ponder. Think before you act. be aptient. Forgive and forget. Love one and all.

If you judge people, you ahve no time to love them. Mothere Theresa

Finding Self-Confidence Through “Stay the Same”

Finding Self-Confidence Through “Stay the Same”     Growing up, music often became a source of comfort and connection, and one song that truly stood out to me was *"Stay the Same"* by Joey McIntyre. Its lyrics about self-acceptance and self-confidence resonated with me in a way that felt both reassuring and empowering. At its heart, *"Stay the Same"* is a reminder that we don’t need to change who we are to be worthy of love and acceptance—a message that was both profound and comforting, especially as a young person navigating self-doubt and the desire to fit in. The opening line, *"Don’t you ever wish you were someone else,"* is like a gentle wake-up call. It’s so easy to fall into the habit of comparing ourselves to others, wishing for qualities we don’t have or feeling inadequate because of some perceived flaw. As a young person, hearing these words felt like a validation that who I was, as I was, was enough. It’s one of those rare reminders that our val...
